Often times monotonous

Today was sort of a boring kind of day. Maybe not boring but monotonous. Only the little details really made it interesting. The clouds were a bit brown this morning but fortunately they dropped a few shallow tears. My mascara smudged but I was more concerned at the fact that my converse are getting very dirty and I don't know if I can wash them. Or will washing them shrink the tinted canvas? Either way the rose bush seemed to sprout overnight. I didn't know that this is a season for roses- do roses have seasons?- but I do know that there was a beautiful pink rose on the bush this morning. It contrasted nicely with the brown clouds. Also, today I noticed how smiles make people look so unique. Without them, we would all look the same, which would be very boring. And cold weather definitely awakens a sleepy mind. That is, unless you are curled up nice and warm in bed. But if your not in your nice, warm bed, the cold does wonders when your tired.
I think I ought to go find out if I can wash my converse cause they are very grim and sad looking. But that is only a minor detail.
